The best multi-channel dashcams of 2026 (3 and 4 cameras)
Rideshare drivers, taxis and families want more than front and rear. These three- and four-channel dashcams cover the road, the cabin and the sides of the car.
A front and rear camera covers most incidents. But if you drive passengers, want proof of what happened inside the car, or worry about side impacts in a car park, a multi-channel dashcam is worth it.
Prices are rough street prices at the time of writing.

Viofo A139 Pro 3CH and A229 3CH
Viofo's three-channel sets add an interior camera with infrared LEDs, so the cabin is visible at night. Image quality is excellent on all three. How to view Viofo footage.
Vantrue N4 Pro
Front and interior cameras in one unit plus a separate rear camera, at a good price. A long-time favourite among rideshare drivers. How to view Vantrue footage.
Vantrue N5
Four channels from one camera: front, interior, rear and a fourth camera you place yourself. One of the few consumer four-channel dashcams.
BlackVue DR770X Box
A different design: a small box under the seat with separate cameras on the glass. Discreet, built for fleets and taxis, and works with BlackVue's cloud. How to view BlackVue footage.
Things to check before you buy
- Interior infrared. Without it, the cabin is black at night.
- Total bitrate. Three or four cameras write a lot of data. A 256 GB card is a sensible minimum; see the best SD cards for dashcams.
- Privacy. Recording passengers can be regulated where you live. Tell passengers they are being recorded.
Watching three or four cameras at once
The hard part of multi-channel footage is keeping the cameras in sync. Tripframe pairs front, rear and interior files from the same moment so they play together. Choose side by side or picture in picture, and press R to record exactly what you see into one video file.
